Job Overview

The Game Designer will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement engaging gameplay features and monetization strategies for free-to-play mobile games. This role requires strong creativity, analytical thinking, and experience in live operations and mobile game ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design gameplay experiences including events, game modes, and mini-games
  • Develop and prototype innovative concepts aligned with player motivations and business goals
  • Collaborate with engineers, artists, and product managers
  • Balance gameplay, difficulty, and monetization strategies
  • Create and maintain clear documentation, wireframes, and design specifications
  • Analyze player feedback and game data to refine features
  • Research industry trends and competitor features to maintain competitiveness

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in game design, especially in free-to-play mobile games
  • Experience shipping multiple F2P mobile titles
  • Strong understanding of mobile game economies and analytics
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
