Role Overview
Crawford Group is seeking a Video Animator & Editor (Project-Based – APAC) to support high-visibility projects for a client team. This contract role is ideal for an experienced creative professional who can integrate quickly into established brand systems and deliver polished, platform-ready motion content.
Assignments will focus on logo animations, branded motion graphics packages, and event-related social videos for platforms such as WeChat, LinkedIn, and Instagram. The role requires flexibility, autonomy, and the ability to execute under tight timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality logo animations, motion graphics, and short-form video content
- Develop event-related assets including promo videos, recap videos, speaker intros, and animated titles
- Adapt brand assets into motion while maintaining cross-regional consistency
- Edit and optimize videos for WeChat, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other APAC platforms
- Design and animate lower thirds, transitions, typography systems, and branded elements
- Resize and reformat content across aspect ratios (1:1, 4:5, 9:16, 16:9)
- Incorporate music, sound design, and motion effects to enhance storytelling
- Deliver optimized exports for compression, playback, and performance
- Maintain organized project files and adhere to naming conventions
- Collaborate with Creative Directors, marketers, designers, and project managers
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional animation and video editing experience (agency and/or in-house)
- Strong portfolio showcasing logo animation, branded motion systems, and social video content
- Experience creating content for LinkedIn, Instagram, WeChat, or similar APAC channels
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro
- Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma
- Strong understanding of motion principles, typography in motion, pacing, and storytelling
- Experience adapting creative assets for international audiences and multiple formats
- Strong brand consistency and attention to detail
- Ability to manage shifting priorities and tight deadlines independently
- Comfort working with distributed teams and established workflows
- Must reside in APAC and be available during Singapore business hours
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana) is a plus
Contract Details
- Project-based consulting engagement
- Variable workload (0–10 hours per week)
