Scattermesh is seeking an experienced Producer to join its team on a full-time basis in Herndon, Virginia. This on-site role is ideal for professionals with a passion for creative production, strong organizational abilities, and experience coordinating projects within film, animation, gaming, or related industries.

Job Overview

The Producer will support and coordinate multiple client projects by managing schedules, maintaining production systems, and ensuring smooth collaboration across teams. This role requires exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to optimize workflows in a fast-paced creative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Production: Learn and support studio pipelines, workflows, and production stages to help teams operate efficiently.
  • Track Deliverables: Monitor schedules, deadlines, and project milestones to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.
  • Maintain Systems: Organize, catalogue, and archive production files and related content across studio systems.
  • Improve Processes: Analyze workflows to identify bottlenecks and develop systems that strengthen organizational efficiency.
  • Facilitate Communication: Collaborate with artists, managers, and stakeholders to ensure all teams have the resources required to succeed.

Qualifications

  • Professional experience in a creative production environment such as film, animation, gaming, or related industries.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of production management tools such as Kitsu, ShotGrid, FTrack, or similar platforms.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel or equivalent software; Python or scripting experience is a plus.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film, Animation, Game Development, Arts, Media Production, or a related field is preferred.
  • Equivalent professional experience in production coordination or creative project management will also be considered.
  • Additional certifications or training in production management tools are advantageous.
